I have seen her live a few times. AWESOME!

Indeed, indeed.

After 7 years of waiting, I finally had the chance to see her last spring when she premiered her new version of Defixiones, over in Kitchener(Ontario). Now, I respect this lady to no end, and think her work is brilliant. I am also well aware that her work is very, to say the least, intense. But NOTHING could prepare me for seeing Mizz G live. It was astounding. I really think every muscle in my body remained perfectly still for the entire cycle. And it was incredible to see her vocal dexterity really fly, the constrast between its raw violence, and the very honest emotional depth to it. I was front row, and she came to the end of the stage, crouched down with a mic in each hand, and belted out such riveting motions on the solo scream I thought for sure she would consume the audience.

I have been lucky enough to see her twice. Once for "The Singer" and once for "The Sporting Life". Both were truly amazing shows.
